Miguel R. Aguilo-Seara, M.D. – Medical Director

Miguel R. Aguilo-Seara, M.D., was trained and completed a psychiatric residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, D.C.,  a geriatric fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital, and a neurology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.  He is an advocate for geriatric patients dealing with Degenerative Brain Disease, including Dementia and related behaviors.  In addition to being Haven’s Medical Director, Dr. Seara maintains a private practice, consults with nursing homes, and teaches medical students and geriatric fellows.  He is ranked among the top physicians in Philadelphia by Mainline Today Magazine

Kenneth M. Levy, D.O. – Assistant Medical Director

Kenneth M. Levy, D.O., has over 20 years experience in geriatric psychiatry.  He trained at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri.  Dr. Levy completed a one-year medical and approved osteopathic internship at the Bryn Mawr Hospital, a psychiatry residency at Zucker Hillside Hospital in Long Island, New York.

Dr. Levy has medical licensure in Pennsylvania and New York.  He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.  In addition to Haven, Dr. Levy is the Director of Psychiatry – Temple Psychiatry at Jeanes Hospital for Temple Physicians Incorporated.

Lisa M. Olander – Chief Executive Officer

Lisa M. Olander is the Chief Executive Officer at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia, with responsibility for assuring successful leadership of all clinical, regulatory and fiscal operations of the hospital.
Ms. Olander has been part of the Behavioral Health industry for over 18 years, with her career spanning all levels of care within the mental health and substance abuse field.  Just prior to joining the Haven team, she was a respected leader within  a National Behavioral Health Company for 15 years.

Ms. Olander obtained her undergraduate and graduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.  She earned her License as Professional Counselor in 2003 and holds a International Certification as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Ms. Olander joined the Haven of Philadelphia team in March 2014 and is tasked with bringing this program to life.  “We are pleased to present our new facility to the Philadelphia area and offer superior services to this very vulnerable population.”

Monique I. Sexton, MHA – Director of Business Development

An experienced behavioral health professional, Sexton brings leadership, recruitment, marketing strategy, and hospital administration to this position. Most recently, Sexton was a core part of the leadership team and the Director of Strategic Planning and Marketing for Malvern Institute in Malvern, PA where she consistently met goals, increased company revenue, and improved patient census.   Sexton’s personal mission to continually strive for excellence with patients, family and referrals sources was exactly what Haven was looking for in this position.

A graduate of Excelsior College in Albany, NY, Sexton received her Masters in Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Miles C. Ladenheim, M.D., Esq. – Court Liaison

Miles C. Ladenheim, M.D., Esq., is a psychiatrist and lawyer, who has been with Haven since 2014. He has been involved in over 25,000 civil commitment cases on behalf of hospitals since 1992, and frequently gives lectures to attorneys and hearing officers on aspects of Pennsylvania’s Mental Health Procedures Act (which governs 302’s and other involuntary petitions). He was also an Adjunct Professor at Temple Law School, where he formerly taught Mental Health Law.

Ladenheim, holds an A.B. degree from Columbia University, an M.D. degree from the S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center at Brooklyn (formerly Downstate Medical Center) and a J.D. degree (magna cum laude) from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Ladenheim is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and Administrative Psychiatry, and is a Member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Abigail Halloran – Director of Risk Management

Abigail Halloran brings over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.  She has worked with all age populations and all levels of care.  She has extensive experience with regulatory compliance, knowledge of regulatory requirements, maintaining Performance Improvement programs and initiatives and assisting in the identification, implementation and maintenance of best practice structures.

Karen S. Dawson-Haines, MSW, LSW – Director of Social Services

Karen S. Dawson-Haines, MSW, LSW, is a Temple University graduate with certification in Gerontology. She has over 30 years of medical and psychiatric Social Work experience. Her background includes an extensive knowledge of social service delivery, student education and training. In addition, Dawson-Haines is a conference presenter for multiple national human service organizations including the ALS Association, National Hospice Organization’s in addition to Palliative Care Groups.

Donna K. Busch – Business Office Manager

Donna K. Busch brings over 20 years of experience in business office management. She has extensive knowledge of Medicaid, Commercial and Medicare insurance billing.  Before joining our Leadership team, Busch worked as a Billing Manager for a large multi-state mental healthcare provider and an owner of a consulting firm that worked exclusively with behavioral healthcare providers throughout the country improving their business process.

Theresa S. Byrd is a graduate of Temple University Fox School of Business.  She has over 13 years of Human Resources Management experience that range developing human resources plans and programs, recruitment, employee/labor relations and benefits.

Musa A. Sillah – Nurse Manager

Musa A. Sillah is a registered nurse with an extensive experience in Nursing Leadership, psychiatry and community health nursing. He is also the Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Long Life Center for Wellness and Prevention.  In 2014, Sillah traveled to Sierra Leone to help join the fight against Ebola. He stayed (for 9 months) until Ebola was finally eradicated. His continued desire to help gave birth to the idea of building a free clinic in Sierra Leone. Construction of the clinic has been completed and is scheduled to open in February of 2017.

Steve Wonsiewski, Director of Admissionsphl-steve-wonsiewski

 

Steve Wonsiewski has over twenty years of experience working in various roles within the mental health field.  After beginning his career in provider relations, Steve assisted in the development and management of the Field Case Management program of a major behavioral health management organization.  Prior to joining the Haven team, Steve spent ten years as an RN at a geriatric psych facility, working as a staff nurse, admissions coordinator, and utilization review specialist.

Steve obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from LaSalle University and earned his Nursing degree from Gwynedd Mercy University.
